Dear Exec and Newsletter editors,
I hope you're all well. Please find below a proposed schedule for the next IVOA newsletter. I've added more weeks to the schedule to take into account the Christmas holiday period (I'll be taking a few weeks holidays). It's also very common for a few articles to arrive late, therefore I'll advertise the deadline for before Christmas, but will accept late submissions up to the week when I'm probably finalising the newsletter html (11th Jan). The following week will be for final edits from the Media group, therefore, I expect to send the newsletter to the Exec in the last week of January, for an early February newsletter release.
Here's the proposed schedule:
Call for articles: 10 Nov 2020
(IVOA interop: 17-19 Nov 2020)
Due date for articles: 22 Dec 2020 (late submissions up to 11 Jan 2021)
To Oversight: 25 Jan 2021
Release date: 1 Feb 2021
Please let me know if you'd like any changes to the dates.
Finally, changing topic and anticipating the question: shall we use the same hashtag for the November Interop: #IVOA20Virtual ?
Many thanks and regards,
Deborah
