Hi Debbie,
I added a couple of your suggestions to the front page. I'm still working
out some CSS issues (I want the Portal sections in individual boxes instead
of one table to make it responsive for mobile/desktop), but the general
layout's there.
I've updated the front page menu so we can showcase the main links we want
people to see. Right now, it's just "About the IVOA", "What is the VO?",
and a link to the "IVOA Portal" section below. I also want a link to the
TWiki up there, but to the right by the search bar. Take a look at the
wireframe on the Google doc: https://docs.google.
com/presentation/d/1fz49i6c_DaoyoZ81RPiDaHWGHfnb2UbW_

I also added a Twitter widget for now, next to the technical news, and a
substitute header image (perhaps this is something we can create at the
meeting).
** I also think we should ask the IVOA members for a tag line for the
website ** I can email Pepi to see if she can bring this up at the opening
sessions tomorrow if others agree?
Thanks,
Jamie
