Dear Interest Group in KD

This is an invitation to submit contributions for the Knowledge 
Discovery Interest Group
session at the upcoming 2022 Fall Virtual IVOA InterOp (October 17-20), 
which will be again
held virtually (registration can be found here 
<https://indico.ict.inaf.it/event/2112/>).

If you would like to present a contribution on a topic that you think is 
relevant for our IG,
please send Yihan Tao (y.tao at nao.cas.cn <http://nao.cas.cn/>) and me 
(rdabrusc at cfa.harvard.edu <http://cfa.harvard.edu/>) a short
description of your contribution. One of the main themes in the KD-IG 
roadmap is the
establishment of synergy with other WGs/IGs and the community of KD/ML 
practitioners
at large to ensure that existing and future science platforms are 
ML-ready. For this reason,
we encourage contributions on these topics.
