Dear Friends

the last exec has finally approved my position as chair of the KDD and
the IG has officially started.
I think it is time to start the discussion for the vice-chair. As agreed
in Victoria, I think it would be important to have someone from US or
Canada, in order to better cover the two different approaches to the "VObs
philosophy".
I would therefore ask all of you to propose (in a private form: i.e. send
the e-mail to longo at na.infn.it) the names of possible candidates.
Please keep in mind that it is praxis that the vice-chaiperson will become
the next chairperson.

yours

Giuseppe Longo
