      The Registry working group invites the community and TCG to review
      the version 1.3 of VODataService (author: M.Demleitner) at: <br>

      VODataService is a core component of the registry, it describes
      the XML serialization of Data Collection and services, with their
      respective characteristics (tables, coverages, etc.).<br>
      <br>
      Version 1.3 mainly consists of the addition of extended elements:
      statistics for columns (section 3.5), resource characterization
      (the `dataSource` and `productTypeServed` elements, section
      3.1.1), and improves relationships between tables and capabilities
      for resources containing multiple tables. This version also
      revises the use cases presented in the introduction (See the RFC
      page for further details).<br>
      <br>
      We would appreciate your time reading and commenting this
      document, <br>
      which is an important standard for enabling the discovery of VO
      resources.<br>
