<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing">The <b>Operations
Interest Group (Ops IG)</b> is organizing a session during the
meeting and we warmly invite contributions on topics related to
operations, including but not limited to:</p>
<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing"><br>
- Site Reports and Operational Challenges: Share how
organizations provide VO services, including any challenges,
questions, or lessons learned from operating services that
implement VO standards.<br>
<br>
- Operations in the Cloud.</p>
<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing"> -
Performance and Load Management:Experiences with the effects of
bots (e.g., LLM bots) on archive sites, how they affect service
performance and resource management, and potential solutions.</p>
<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing"> - <span
data-start="128" data-end="170">Operational aspects of
authentication:</span> Associating user identity with VO
requests, including experiences, challenges, and operational
implications.</p>
<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing"> -
User agents: statistical data on the usage of various client
agents for TAP and other VO protocols, along with your experience
in collecting and analyzing this data and the infrastructure
supporting it.</p>
<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing"> -
Communication and feedback between ops services and data
providers: your experiences or proposals to improve it.<br>

- Validation: Your experience with providing or using software
that verifies the correctness of VO services.</p>
<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing"><br>

<p class="ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing">If you
would like to contribute a talk, discussion, or proposal on any of
these topics (or others related to operations), please reach out
to us by email. Kindly include the title and a brief abstract of
your proposed contribution. If you are unsure whether your topic
fits or are a first-time contributor, don’t hesitate to contact us
for clarification.</p>

Deadline</b>: 22 May 2026. Early submissions are encouraged to
facilitate session planning and organization.</p>
