<p>Welcome to the IVOA radio astronomy interest group. As some of
you know, this group came out of discussions at recent ADASS and
IVOA Interoperability meetings about how the VO can better serve
the radio astronomy community. To focus our activities over the
next few months, we will be holding telecons to discuss the
issues related to radio astronomy in the VO. I've scheduled our
first one of these for Thursday July 2nd in two timeslots (10:00
UT and 16:00 UT) to allow some flexibility as our group spans
many timezones. Both telecons will have the same agenda, so you
need only dial into one of them. <br>

<p>For those of you who are new to the VO (or want a refresher on
what the VO can do for radio data), CSIRO has a very nice VO
implementation (CASDA) for ASKAP data:</p>

<p>* Summary of radio-related IVOA meetings to date, including use
cases for radio astronomy data in the VO</p>

<p> - what's needed from data providers to make data visible in
the VO.<br>
</p>
<p> - points of contact between Observatories and VO experts.</p>
<p>* Metadata for radio data that are not currently part of the
VO's core metadata set ("ObsCore", see
