<font face="sans-serif" size="3">This is to announce the <b>2016
Conference on Big Data from Space - BiDS'16</b>, </font> <br>
<font face="sans-serif" size="3">which will be held at the <b>Auditorio
de
Tenerife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain) on 15-17 March 2016</b>.
</font> <br>
<br>
<font face="sans-serif" size="3">The objective of the Big Data
from Space conferences is to bring together researchers,
engineers and users working in the area of Big Data from Space.
The 2016 Big Data from Space conference (BiDS'16), is jointly
organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), the Joint Research
Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, and the European Union
Satellite Centre (SatCen), in collaboration with the Instituto
de Astrofisica de Canarias (IAC). It follows the success of
BiDS'14 organised by the same institutions and the seminal big
data from space event organised by ESA in 2013. </font> <br>
<br>
<font face="sans-serif" size="3">The conference addresses various
themes and offers several session formats: oral presentations in
Regular Sessions, oral presentations in Invited Sessions, demo,
posters, exhibition sessions to allow researchers, industry and
open source projects to interact with conference participants. </font>
<br>
<br>
<font face="sans-serif" size="3">For <b>Regular and Poster
Sessions</b>, we invite you to submit two-page abstracts via
the electronic submission system, as indicated on the conference
web site, by <b>October the 30th</b>.</font> <br>
<font face="sans-serif" size="3">For <b>Invited Sessions</b> we
invite to submit a proposal explaining objectives and topics of
the session, and the list of planned talks by <b>September the
4th</b>. The proposal shall be sent to the following address:</font>
