Hi Adrian and Francesca,

do you think there would be time during Apps session for my talk about VO 
spectra publishing ?  I would like to present not the DAL-like issues but 
the general view of the VO user - what he expects and what are the 
problems with current VO spectra publishing services in order to allow the 
massive interoperable spectra analysis in large surveys.


I would name it like

VO Spectra Publishing Revisited

Abstract:

Although spectral publishing via the VO was one of the main drivers of VO 
technology, with SSAP already defined in 2005, most current SSAP services 
are now obsolete and do not exploit the full capabilities of modern IVOA 
standards combined with SSAP. This leads large surveys to reinvent 
complex, multi-stage methods for spectral publication and leaves the needs 
of high-precision radial-velocity work, driven mainly by exoplanet 
research, insufficiently covered. I will show how most of these issues can 
be resolved by small, incremental updates to existing services.
