GWS Working Group Sessions at IVOA Interop (Malta, Nov 14-17, 2024)

Dear GWS Working Group Members,

We're glad to invite you to submit contributions for the GWS Working Group sessions at the upcoming Northern Fall IVOA Interoperability Meeting in La Valletta, Malta (November 14-17, 2024). The meeting follows the ADASS conference (details: https://indico.ict.inaf.it/event/2996/).

Focus Areas:

  *   Evolution of protocols for Science Platforms interoperability: Sharing updates on how protocols are being developed and improved for better communication between science platforms.
  *   Astronomical data lakes: Discussing advancements and challenges in managing and accessing large datasets within astronomy.
  *   Adaptation of existing protocols to new technologies: Exploring how current protocols can be adapted to leverage emerging technologies in the field.
  *   HPC and challenges on astronomical big data missions: Highlighting the role of high-performance computing in data processing and the unique challenges faced by big data missions in astronomy.
  *   Review of new protocols for workflow execution planning: Discussing recently defined protocols that streamline planning and execution of scientific workflows.

If you have work you'd like to share in these areas, we encourage you to submit a proposal for a demonstration, talk, or focused discussion.
Please include a title and a short description of your contribution in your submission.
