IVOA Northern Fall 2023 Interoperability Meeting - first announcement

Dear VO community,

We are writing to inform you that the
*IVOA Northern Spring 2023 Interoperability Meeting*
will take place in
*Bologna (Italy)* the week of *May 8-12 2023*.

It is planned as an in-person event with hybrid participation available.
Registration is OPEN now and will close on April 21.

We kindly ask you to directly register for the event and encourage you to
attend in person!
Please start planning your travel now if you plan to attend.
There are several other events going on in Bologna and accommodations are
already quite full.

The meeting organization will follow a hybrid solution, favoring an in
presence participation.
Zoom will be used for remote attendance of the plenary and the main
parallel sessions.
The streamed sessions will be recorded and made available to ease remote
participation
from time zones that are different from the local one (CEST, UTC+2) used
for the event.

and provides a realistic view of the starting and closing date/time(s).
Individual sessions will undergo finalization over the next month or so,
so please check back for details.
