PR: SimpleDALRegExt. Seeking review, SSA time series implementation.

Hello all!


Over the holidays, a Proposed Recommendation version of the SimpleDALRegExt standard, version 1.2 has been put up by the editor and document coordinator at https://www.ivoa.net/documents/SimpleDALRegExt/20201216/index.html. This describes Registry extensions for Cone Search, SIAP (image), SSA (spectra), and SLAP (line) services, which have many common parts. It's a relatively small housekeeping update, and if you can spare the  time for a quick review, we in the Registry working group would appreciate it!


Also, if you have SSA services which provide time series, we need another reference implementation beyond GAVO. Service providers with such SSA resources published through the MAST registry can contact me directly and I'll get it set up; other publishing registries will have their own process.

 There are two main changes from 1.1:


  *   Official support for auxiliary capabilities; this updates the main document per  https://ivoa.net/documents/discovercollections/

  *   The SSAP extension now lets people declare which data product types are begin served (pressing use case: time series).  With this comes a vocabulary of product types taken from ObsCore (and intended to be taken up by it again), see http://www.ivoa.net/rdf/product-type .

The PR also formally removes a few obsolete features that do not exist any more in Registry standards or live records.

All the changes from the prior working draft (April 2020) are editorial.
