Dear Colleague,

This is to announce the *2017 Conference on Big Data from Space -
BiDS'17* which will be held at the *Pierre Baudis Conference Centre in
Toulouse (France) on 28-30 November 2017*.

The objective of this conference is to stimulate interaction and bring
together researchers, engineers, users and infrastructure/service
providers interested in exploiting Big Data from Space.

The 2017 Conference on Big Data from Space (BiDS'17) is jointly
organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), the Joint Research Centre
(JRC) of the European Commission and the European Union Satellite Centre
(SatCen); it will be hosted by the French Centre National d'Études
Spatiales (CNES).

BiDS’17 follows the success of BiDS'14 and BiDS’16 organised by the same
institutions and the seminal Big Data from Space event organised by ESA
in 2013.

The conference addresses various themes and offers several session
formats: oral presentations, posters, demos and exhibition sessions to
allow researchers, SMEs, industry, institutions and open source projects
to interact with conference participants.

We would like to invite you to submit extended (two-page) abstracts via
the electronic submission system, as indicated on the conference web
site, by *_July the 31^st 2017._*

All submissions will be peer reviewed by the Programme Committee and
Notification of Acceptance will be provided by *_September the 20^th
2017_*.

Further information and guidelines regarding the abstracts submission
and registration, final program, hotel accommodation, transports, etc.
will be provided on the Conference Web site.
