Important news on the Interoperability Meeting 9-12 Nov 2009

Dear All,

While Nic already announced the date change (nobody seems to like Friday 
13th)
I'd like to draw your attention to the hotel block reservation deadlines, 
the first of which (26/09) is approaching fast.

Please check out the accommodation page (from 
http://www.eso.org/sci/meetings/ivoa2009)
for all details, and please notice that the Hotel Mercure Schwabing has 
favourably changed
rates, and prolonged the reservation deadline.

When booking, do not forget to mention the reservation code: ESO Interop.

08-OCT-2009  Reservation ends for Hotel Maria's Inn (Garching)
09-OCT-2009  Reservation ends for Hotel Ibis (Garching Hochbrueck)
09-OCT-2009  Reservation ends for Hotel Mercure Schwabing (Muenchen)
15-OCT-2009  Meeting registration deadline
08-NOV-2009  IVOA Exec Meeting
09-NOV-2009  Opening date (Assignments and beginning of work)
12-NOV-2009  Closing date (International Agreements on Interoperability)

Given the anticipated adjourning, some of you might still be here on 
Friday 13th,
and might prefer not to enjoy the awesome bayerische Herbst (autumn).
I already got a request for a room reservation on that date by the Data 
Model WG Chair.
Would other working group chairs require a room reservation, please 
react promptly;
I have strong ESO pressure to release the rooms we already reserved.
Make sure to contact me with such request as soon as possible, before 
the end of September.
