I should have also mentioned that, as a rule of thumb, one can expect it to
take at least 45 minutes and more often an hour or more from the time an
international flight arrives at Dulles (IAD) and when you see the light of
day after immigration, baggage claim, and customs.  I am sorry that my
country does such a lousy job of welcoming people to the US.
