downtime/new server

[IVOA Document Coordinator]

Dear All,

   Due to a problem with the power grid affecting the nearest network node of
our ISP, the internet and email domain @ivoa.net was unavailable for various
periods of time during the past days. We would like to offer our sincere
apologies for any inconvenience. The cause was beyond our control.

We used the downtime to upgrade to a new web server to better cope with the
foreseeable load on the TWiki system at the upcoming interop. If despite our
tests there should be a problem with the TWiki system then please report it as
usual to <ivoadoc at ivoa.net>.
