Dear all,

I still owe you a summary on neutrino data as input for our discussions
later:

*Use Cases*

You can find four neutrino use cases in our KM3NeT fork of the ObsCore
note here:
https://github.com/KM3NeT/HighEnergyObsCoreExt/blob/1ee1f68d16ae312e20dc664f6718ca6f5408e056/UseCases.tex#L266

They cover querying an existing dataset from ANTARES, combining IRFs
from CTA and KM3NeT (a use case where we have the IRFs, but they are not
yet available through the VO), finding neutrinos from all available
experiments for a given point source, and estimating the neutrino flux
from an extended region. For the queries listed there, these only
represent rough guesses, and are basis for discussion.

*KM3NeT VO services*

The technical setup for the implementation of the pilot is the DaCHS
server at vo.km3net.de <http://vo.km3net.de> and the dataverse instance
holding auxiliary data like IRFs at opendata.km3net.de
<https://opendata.km3net.de/>. For the implementation of the use cases,
we are currently stuck with the problem that our DaCHS version is quite
outdated and we have to upgrade first and move to a new server and
containerize DaCHS before applying the changes required for the use
cases. For the DaCHS inclined, you can find a (yet non-functional)
resource descriptor for the ANTARES data here
<https://git.km3net.de/open-data/voserver/-/blob/obscore/examples/Antares2017/nu.rd>.

As I am not sure how to proceed with the further implementation and
change requests from the neutrino side, I think it would be good if we
could focus the meeting mostly on the organizational part - how we
interact in the implementation of the use cases, how this goes together
with the ucd discussions and other current processes around the note -
then we might perhaps manage to stay within the one hour ;)

See you later!

Cheers,

Jutta
