[Heig] HEIG Obscore Note - Final prep for TCG this week!!

Folks,

Just a heads up that we’re at the final stretch.  Thank you to everyone for your review and final comments on the HEIG Obscore Note.  Ian will make a final update to the document in the next few days, and then I plan to send it to the TCG. I will cc all of you.

I think it’s a good time to let everyone know, if you haven’t heard already, that Ian and I are retiring on Sept 4.  We plan to stay on as collaborators at CfA, continue our work with the HEIG, and I will complete my term as HEIG V Chair, which expires next fall.  I think the only thing you’ll find is that we won’t be online for so many hours a week.

Once the document advances through TCG review and Exec endorsement, we’ll call a meeting to outline the next steps of this effort so everyone stays informed.
