Dear CSP, TDIG and GWS colleagues,

Thanks for your responses. According to them and looking at people's availabilities in the weeks prior to the Paris interop, I propose to have three telecons to coordinate the points below on the 2nd, 11th and 25th of April of this year, all of them scheduled at 5 pm CEST (Madrid/Strasbourg) = 11 am EST (Cambridge, MA) = 8 am PDT (Pasadena) = 11 pm CST (Beijing) = 2 am AEDT (Sydney). I paste below the connection details and attach the calendar invite files such that you can import them in your calendars and verify the exact local times in your time-zones. I am aware that the chosen times are not good for some colleagues so I would welcome contributions before or after any of the telecons via email to the addressee list above or via phone/skype calls with me at better times where needed.

Subject: CSP + TDIG telecons prior to Paris interop (doodle)

Dear CSP and TDIG colleagues,

Northern sprint is coming and with it our need to move on with CSP and TDIG activities. For that reason, I would like to ask you please to give me your availabilities for two telecons before the May interop where we should :

    1. organize a hackathon together with astropy colleagues on time-domain functionality using the new TIMESYS IVOA note by the Time-Domain Interest Group (or equivalently interesting scientific ideas)
    2. organize potentially also a focus session on how to enable access to big data from large surveys via the IVOA infrastructure
    3. review the current scientific priorities in the VO and propose new ones to the exec
    4. discuss details of a proposal for an IVOA data portal or equivalent functionality
