Yes, that's exactly what we do: wait for the PHASE=RUN command before
validation.

Grégory uses in his library. It is always worth remembering that UWS is
just a facade and that there is a fair degree of freedom in the
underlying implementation as long as the interface behaves in a way that
the client expects.
Agreed, I will do that, it sounds very reasonable. I think this is not
so clear from the definition of startTime as the time when the job
starts execution, but it will make sense to the user.
I am glad we had these discussions, since it makes it all much clearer
to me. Thanks a lot!
