Hi Mark , hi SDM contributers,<br>
<br>
this is an up-to-date question for lower / upper detection limit :
currently there is no specific UCD . <br>
is <i>instr.saturation</i> the proper term? I am not sure .<br>
it implies only a limitation due to the instrument but some
limitations also depend on the processing/ calibration assumptions .<br>
<br>
is their a need for some new ucd terms for this quantity , and how
should it be defined ? <br>
<br>
To the dm group in general:<br>
For your information people are welcome to propose new terms.<br>
For submitting a request for a new ucd , you can check <a

class="moz-txt-link-freetext">https://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/UCDList_1-5_RFM</a><br>
The VEP-UCD links on this page illustrate how you can formalize a
request. <br>
It is a page where we collected request for new terms for the new
version of the list, available as a Proposed Endorsed Note <br>

"stat.variance;instr.order" for both, though

<ul>
<li>"statistical lower limit" ->
"stat.value;stat.min"</li>
<li>"detection lower limit" ->
