SSLDM status?

Dear DM group,
The Firefly team at IPAC is actively working on capabilities related to working with plotting spectral lines in the context of our more general support for spectra. Part of this work involves making it possible to work with lists of spectral lines that might be supplied by users or as part of mission-specific Firefly applications, or eventually also populated from SLAP queries (though probably not initially).
We would like to work with the relevant IVOA standards, so we've been looking at SSLDM in particular. We see that there's a pending SSLDM v2.0 RFC that is marked as "frozen" pending work on an SLAP v2.0. =
For our initial work I suspect we need only a tiny fraction of the power of these data models, but nevertheless we'd like to know whether there's substantive pending work that takes things in a significantly different direction.
In addition, as a contribution to future discussions, I would say that one of the use cases that we have heard repeatedly from all our potential users for these features is the ability to define and/or retrieve curated sets of lines that may be relevant, say, to particular missions or instruments or to particular science collaborations. Some way of expressing groupings like this _within_ the standards would be of interest to us.
Gregory
