PhotDM 1.1 WD: comments at working group level

Dear DM WG members,

We have prepared a first stable version of the updated PhotDM 1.1. This version was presented during yesterday’s DM run meeting and it is also ready for comments at DM working group level.

PhotDM 1.1 prevents too many deviations from previous standard PhotDM 1.0 but it has VO/DML support so it could be used with the new tools and mapping techniques ongoing work. Also, model consistency and IVOA profile reuse for types has been also upgraded.

Apart from the VO/DML documentation, Mireille has also prepared a discussion page documenting the changes on the model needed for the VO/DML adaptation at:

As said, the mode is quite backwards compatible with the current implementations and Laurent is supporting on evaluating the model, using it on the DM mapping and in line with the effort he is leading on the DM WG.
