[QUANTITY] The quandary

I neglected to mention a point in my previous post summarizing Data 
Models for Spectra: Abstractions for Quantities and Coordinates. A 
similar unification and structuring of the property/coordinates/units 
information, but applied instead to spatial coordinates is described in 
the recent SIAP extension proposal from the CfA group:
