Jonathan -
Starting data models on tuesday afternoon conflicts with DAL - many of us in
the DAL WG want to participate in UCDs and data models tool (and VOQL etc.).
Ideally we should run things in the order UCDs/registries, DM, DAL so that
folks can at least attend the first session in each area. The working
groups might then run to additional parallel sessions for follow-on
discussions, but at least the initial sessions would not conflict.
The following would be my preference to minimize overlap in the initial
discussions, but still allow time for follow-on discussion:
Mon am organization, arrivals, informal meeting time
Mon pm Registry, UCDs
Tue am Data models Registry, UCDs (contd)
Tue pm Data Access Layer UCDs and Data Models (contd)
Wed am VOQL, VOTable as-needed follow-up
Wed pm as-needed follow-up + AVO Exec Meeting
It is also possible that the second UCD discussion session could be part
of the initial DM discussion as the two are so closely related. A break
might be useful in any case after an afternoon of UCDs. There would
still be time for additional follow-on discussion.
Most of us would have a break or a chance for follow-on discussions Weds
afternoon, and then we would all do the second iteration in the plenary
sessions Thu/Fri.
