    <p>Dear colleagues,</p>

    <p>You may remember that last year we discussed the influential FAIR

      Data Maturity Model developed by the RDA Working Group of the same

      name. Another Working Group common to the RDA, FORCE11 and the

      Research Software Alliance, FAIR for Research Software (FAIR4RS),

      is working to define FAIR for Research Software, as shown by its

      name <span class="moz-smiley-s1"><span>:-)</span></span>. It

      would be very useful that knowledgeable people from the

      astronomical field have a look at and participate in their

      activities.</p>

    <p>To join the Group, you can go to the Group web page and push on

      the Join button on the right (you have to be logged in with your

      RDA credentials to do that). When you have joined you will get the

      emails sent to the Group. You can check the email collection in

      "Posts".</p>

    <p>The Group organises a Town Hall meeting on 2 February 2021 at

      20:00 UTC to discuss the next steps of their work. They will

      likely release a set of preliminary documents soon. Registration
