Hello ADQL-folks,<br>
<br>
Just a short email to remember to whoever is interested by the
evolution of ADQL (and especially by finishing ADQL-2.1) that work
is now going on in GitHub:<br>
<br>
<a href="https://github.com/ivoa-std/ADQL">https://github.com/ivoa-std/ADQL</a><br>
<br>
The future and past points to work on are all listed in the <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/ivoa-std/ADQL/issues">Issues page</a>.<br>
<br>
Current topic is the re-definition of the REGION function: <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/ivoa-std/ADQL/issues/17">Issue #17</a>,
and the proposed resolution is in the <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/ivoa-std/ADQL/pull/25">Pull Request #25</a>.
It will probably be closed at the end of this week if no complain
comes up.<br>
<br>
Next major active topic will probably be set operators (i.e. UNION,
INTERSECT and EXCEPT): <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/ivoa-std/ADQL/issues/20">Issue #20</a>.<br>
<br>
The idea is to have ADQL-2.1 ready (probably not yet REC but close
to) by the May Interop ; so, just finalizing the current proposition
of ADQL-2.1, eventually dropping premature stuffs but not adding new
features.<br>
<br>
If you want to keep an eye (just by curiosity or in the intention to
actively participate), I suggest you to become a watcher of this
GitHub repository. There will probably not be an email on IVOA
list(s) for each topic to come.<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>
Grégory<br>
