</span>well precisely - but this <a href="http://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/year2000.html" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/year2000.html</a> is the offender - which actually says nothing about ‘forbidding’ Z indeed does not mention timezones - that language first appears in Rots et al. Representations of time coordinates in FITS A&A 2015 as far as I can tell.<br>
