<p class="MsoNormal">Just to be clear on the attributions: That's TAP Lint which is actually giving the error. The HEASARC just runs TAP lint on all of the TAP services and records the results.<br>

This is a well known problem. I think the usual solution is to use double quotes whenever you give the refer to this column. I.e., the column name should be given as<br>
"size"<br>
rather than<br>

In registering our new TAP service I’ve come across a clash in standards with the validation of the TAP_SCHEMA.columns table.<br>

The TAP 1.0 standard defines the columns table in section 2.6.3. It includes a size column, however the report by the HEASARC validator lists this as a breach of the ADQL standard.<br>
