Interop June 2026 - VOLLT Splinter

Just to reiterate what this meeting is about



* ADQLlib is an important and useful piece of work that several groups want to use, but

* The latest version has been available only on a branch of https://github.com/gmantele/vollt/tree/adql2.1 <f10be492-d7d4-4b3b-9f86-4a09b4934193> for some time now
* It shares a repository with UWSlib and TAPlib, which limits the ease which which it can be separately evolved




I have done the work of merging the branch into head and deleting the UWS and TAP code in https://github.com/Javastro/ADQLLib <color: rgb(0, 0, 0);> (as well as some small tidying up). The proposal to make this library more accessible to the community is to move this repository to https://github.com/ivoa <12564b75-763e-4e7b-a029-91a19b08f354> ( it would obviously then be sensible to delete the ADQL code from https://github.com/gmantele/vollt <f10be492-d7d4-4b3b-9f86-4a09b4934193> so that the UWS and TAP libraries can evolve independently.


It would be a bonus if the IVOA web team could be persuaded to run a maven repository (such as https://www.sonatype.com/products/sonatype-nexus-repository <0c952dc4-0201-4b88-897e-f2305fc3d1ff>), so that it was easy to publish the library too.

As you can see, it often takes place during the lunch break. Then, it
will take place in a room at the conference venue.
Another possibility is one hour before the social dinner (on Tuesday).
However, given the time, this option may take place at the Observatory
(~15 min walk from the conference venue).

In theory, it could be possible in parallel of the Exec meeting on
Wednesday, but the TCG/Exec has requested that this slot be left empty.

Of course, any other suggestion is welcome.
