POST method in SIAv2

Looking for a quick clarification on the proper implementation of the POST method for SIAv2.

SIAv2.0's spec states the following:
As a DALI-sync resource, the parameters for a request may be submitted using an HTTP GET (query string) or POST action.

That’s the last the document speaks of it. Are the search parameters intended to be provided as form-data? I’d hope so, but I’ve seen crazier things.

(I feel like I’m obligated to mention at this point, that questions like these are a great reason to have OpenAPI docs! 😉)
