Validation of TAP_SCHEMA.columns

Hi,

In registering our new TAP service I've come across a clash in standards with the validation of the TAP_SCHEMA.columns table.

The TAP 1.0 standard defines the columns table in section 2.6.3. It includes a size column, however the report by the HEASARC validator lists this as a breach of the ADQL standard.

Is there a generally accepted resolution to this issue?
