VAO Multidimensional (Cube) Data in VO Whitepaper

A VAO whitepaper on Multidimensional (Cube) Data in the VO is available

This is the result of an effort by a group within the VAO (Matthew
Graham Chair) over the past couple of months to examine use cases for
cube data, conduct a use case and requirements analysis, and contrast
this with the VO architecture.  Cube data use-cases from radio through
X-ray are examined, including both spectral/polarization and time cubes
as well as ordinary 2-D images.  Recommendations are made regarding
priorities for IVOA prototyping and standards development.  A concept
for the multidimensional Image Data Model satisfying these use cases is
included.
