One of the ways described is basically giving your data to an established data center. However, in order to do that, appropriate metadata has got to be provided. This is a topic that we spend a lot of time working with small projects on, because the VO specifications are quite intimidating, and small groups often aren't funded at a level to really digest them. We have been tasked with creating a metadata guide that would make it easy for VO outsiders with little time to include the metadata that would be required to seamlessly ingest contributed datasets into IRSA (and the VO). Does anyone know of any existing metadata guides? the China-VO, to share the experiences and lessons for the
10-years' LAMOST data release and open access. Additionally to
the data release web portal, the LAMOST spectral archives have

I also fully support Tamara, as she implemented many of
the VO protocols and provided very good feedback in this
context in the Ops WG sessions (cc Mark) about services
validations.<br>

A couple of years ago, when we went to Sydney for ADASS
and IVOA meeting, I was struck on how various Australian
data centres just picked up the IVOA standards and
implemented them, without having been involved in the VO
before, so they might also be good presenters in this
context, so we could ask Simon or James for names. Now
if you want old or future projects, we also have some at
ESA, but it might be better to hear from people
"outside" the IVOA community.<br>

I would suggest to go for a plenary session, 1 h 30 min

The idea would be to listen to the story on how a
project can build a VO archive for their data to help
the newcomers. I think that having someone tell us their
story on "how they did it", "how they do it", "how they
plan to do it" would be great. From such a session we
can collect lessons learned and help others with the
process.<br>

For the newcomers session that Hendrik and Dave carry
out, I can give a short presentation taking some
elements from Exec & CSP, and announcing this extra
session during the interop.<br>
<br>
We could invite all those who shared their contact on
this survey to attend the interop newcomers session, and
to this dedicated session on sharing your data into the
VO.<br>

Does this approach seem ok to you? And who should we
invite to give a presentation on the topic?<br>

For the "recent project" I though about inviting Tamara
Civera. She is representing the Javalambre Observatory
and has recently joined the VO. I've seen her
contributions in past interops and I think she's doing a
great job and other projects can learn from her
experience.<br>
Do you have someone in mind, also for old and future
projects? It could be you or someone from your project
of course!<br>
