Given the vast<br class="">experience in radioastronomy in the area and the potential<br class="">availability of several expert radioastronomers in the area, we had<br class="">the idea of organizing a “Radioastronomy in the VO” session to examine<br class="">together the availability to radio data in the VO and try to identify<br class="">the simplest steps to connect both worlds or at least to move slightly<br class="">in the right direction. We would be talking about a 1.5 to 2 hour<br class="">plenary session during the IVOA interop meeting in Groningen with a<br class="">few small presentations to set the context and a discussion on what to<br class="">do next. We would first like to invite you all to this session (either<br class="">in person or remotely, giving a talk or just participating in the<br class="">discussion) and would like to ask how do you think this discussion<br class="">could be more useful to both parties. We will take care of all the<br class="">logistics of the session.<br class="">An earlier similar discussion already took place in the context of the<br class="">ESCAPE project and the notes can be found here. Therefore, we could<br class="">start the session with a summary of the conclusions from the earlier<br class="">meeting by e.g. Francois Bonnarel from CDS and then try to identify<br class="">the next steps to make all the Radio data easily available to the VO<br class="">world and viceversa.
