My mistake, the astropy session is on Thursday 31st of May, not on Friday 1st of May as I had wrongly written (thanks Tom Donaldson for catching that!). I hope you can confirm ASAP your participation or not to arrange the final agenda and test the remote connection
etc. These science sessions are typically one of the highlights of the meeting so I think it would really pay off to participate, give good presentations there and have a nice discussion afterwards.<br>

As discussed, I managed to get a slot starting at 9:00 Canada time (PDT) on Friday June the 1st to discuss the astropy-IVOA synergies at the upcoming meeting in Victoria. If I am not mistaken 9 am PDT corresponds to 12 pm at Baltimore (EDT), 5 pm at London
(BST) and 7 pm in Greece (EEST). <br>

We had discussed that it would be very useful whether at least some of you could join remotely to present what astropy is about to the IVOA community (<a href="http://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/RegPage">83 people</a> at this meeting), including most
of the active software engineers in the alliance. We could then follow that by a short discussion on how to create bonds between both communities for everyone’s benefit. I understand that Sébastien will be in person at the meeting, which is of course even
better.<br>
