Hi Marco,

If you would like to provide examples of operational services, you could
refer to https://sdc.cab.inta-csic.es/svoztf/

This is a service developed and maintained by the Spanish VO to identify
and characterize Cataclysmic Variables using ZTF data and the ALeRCE
broker. The goal is to provide an alternative to the traditional
follow-up approach by searching for existing information in VO archives
and services.

On a daily basis, our system connects to ALeRCE to retrieve alerts with
a non-zero probability of belonging to the Cataclysmic Variable / Nova
class. The characterization workflow consists of several steps, most of
them using VO protocols (e.g. SSAP), tools (e.g. STILTS) and services
(e.g. Vizier).

Cheers,

Enrique.
