Dear Ada

Thanks for putting together this nice presentation ! I have a few comments on the last slides in particular 😉….

For slide 7, I wonder whether we could give it a more positive spin 😉 ? The current list of questions could give the perception that we’re doing things wrongly, which is not the message we want to convey. May be the slide could be given a different title (i.e. “CSP important considerations” ???) and turn the questions differently, see some suggestions below:


  *   Identify the current main science cases in the community
  *   Engage with large and small projects
  *   Ensure IVOA is building standards, tools and services responding to these science cases
  *   Ensure right balance for these standards
     *   Not too generic, not too specific
     *   Implementable standards, while not too simplisitic
     *   Need for new standards, or updating existing standards
     *   Addressing new data types, new areas in astronomy

For slide 8, the list is quite exhaustive which is good. It might be useful to put first the ones which are now the priority we’re working on, in particular with the corresponding sessions in this interop. What do you think ?
