[csp] CSP report at the Exec today

Hi everyone, 

Today we have an exec meeting and I am preparing the status report. I have a been a little bit busy with other matters so apologies for not having had a very active CSP lately! I’m trying to catch up with different topics…  
  
Here are the few items that I have collected that need to be reported. Item on Data formats needs special attention from us. Please have a look and share your thoughts on these items and any other you have in your mind that need our attention ! 

LineTAP updates: there was a DAL running meeting to discuss about LineTAP <https://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/edit/IVOA/LineTAP?topicparent=IVOA.IvoaExecMeetingTM107;nowysiwyg=0>, although I personally couldn't attend there is a good communication between the interested parties and the definition of which parameters are needed within this new protocol is underway. If any of you were at the meeting and want to share more info please let me know.  
Follow up on Data formats: 
JSON - There's been some discussion around this subject on Slack. This was initiated and motivated by GCN moving away from VOEvent and adopting other messaging technologies better adapted for high cadence (Kafka / Avro). I think we should support to have some discussion within the next interop around this subject. In this context perhaps a CSP plenary session around multimessenger could set the scene as a starting point for that discussion. LVK, neutrino, SVOM, CTA, DESY, GCN... Thoughts? (From last TCG meeting I understood that Pierre Le Sidaner (Apps) and Tess (Registry) are having a close look into the topic, I think we should set a meeting to discuss about this topic and share our thoughts.  
The newcomers session: Hendrik asked for my participation following the same format as last time and I have agreed to take part. I think it would be great to have again a short intro by the Exec. While the meetings are still online we can continue doing this without much thought, but once the meetings are in person we need to come-up with a working solution for the newcomers session. We can come back to this issue when needed - but I thought I would put it out there. 
The webpage ivoa.net points to a glossary for developers maintained at the twiki and which has some technical terms and a list of acronyms: https://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/VOGlossary <https://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/VOGlossary> Recently some actions took place to add new terms. Hendrik and Marco have worked together to update this list. While the list has terms related to the IVOA, there are more general terms for example items such as “C+” or “ASCII” which I’m not sure should be there and there might be other terms which are missing from the IVOA vocabulary. I think the CSP with help of the TCG could revise the list and decide if some elements don’t belong there. This is not urgent but I don’t think it requires much effort from our side. One way to proceed would be to set up a list of terms and for you to vote if you want it in or out… (just an idea, and open to suggestions).
