[csp] newcomers to the IVOA session

Dear All,
As you know we have a dedicated session for newcomers to the IVOA on the 25th of April, starting at 20:30 UTC. 
The session will be divided in two one hour blocks separated by a 30 min break. 

For that session I have asked Bruce Berriman to give a short intro to the history of the IVOA, who has kindly agreed :) 
After Bruces presentation I will give an intro to the IVOA (what, why, where, …) where I will briefly mention some standards (VOTable, Conesearch, HiPS, MOC, VOEvent, SAMP, provenance, ). The idea is not to be exhaustive but to allow newcomers to get a feeling on standards. 

The presentations will then be followed by the tutorial that Hendrik Heinl & Dave Morris have prepared where they will concentrate a bit more on the tech side of things.

BTW, I still need to prepare the CSP presentation (intro) and the one for the panel session with the summary of the Survey. I will send you those later this week.
