[csp] astropy - IVOA synergy session at Victoria next week

Dear all,

As discussed, I managed to get a slot starting at 9:00 Canada time (PDT) on Friday June the 1st to discuss the astropy-IVOA synergies at the upcoming meeting in Victoria. If I am not mistaken 9 am PDT corresponds to 12 pm at Baltimore (EDT), 5 pm at London (BST) and 7 pm in Greece (EEST). 

We had discussed that it would be very useful whether at least some  of you could join remotely to present what astropy is about to the IVOA community (83 people <http://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/RegPage> at this meeting), including most of the active software engineers in the alliance. We could then follow that by a short discussion on how to create bonds between both communities for everyone’s benefit. I understand that Sébastien will be in person at the meeting, which is of course even better.

If you were available and interested we would be delighted to listen to you and I will arrange the local connection and the corresponding test to make sure everything works smoothly at the session itself. For the discussion I will request a spider phone such that you can hear people’s comments remotely too of course.

So, would you be able to confirm to me whether you can or cannot participate as soon as you read this message? That way I can make the final adjustments to the agenda for the meeting itself asap too. Of course any other idea you might have is very much welcome as well so feel free to propose any alternatives that might work best from your point of view.
