[csp] The Victoria astropy discussion meeting

Hi Tom, nice meeting you. ;)

We are planning to organize a focus session in the upcoming IVOA interop meeting in Victoria <http://wiki.ivoa.net/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/InterOpMay2018MeetingtPage> (May 27th to June 1st 2018) where we will discuss specifically how to enhance the synergies and collaborations between the astropy community and the IVOA community. Both groups have some small overlap already but we believe that both might benefit greatly from enlarging the mutual awareness. So, would you be available to join a telecon to discuss and plan the agenda for such a focus session and help us making it as useful as possible for the astropy community? Any idea of whether someone from astropy (maybe you?) could actually come in person to the meeting in Victoria?
