Aladin Desktop v11 release

Dear Apps enthusiasts,

CDS is pleased to announce the release of Aladin Desktop version 11.
This new major release includes:

  * improved time support (time plots with linked views, time 
controller, time coverage with TMOC support)

* an advanced version of the Discovery Tree, allowing easy access to and 
filtering of 20,000+ data collections

  * various improvements related to Virtual Observatory 
standards: VOTable 1.4, TAP 1.1, MOC 1.1, Data Link support, support of 
ADQL JOIN for TAP queries

* misc: support of FITS images internal compression methods (as 
described in FITS 4.0 paper 
<https://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_standard.html>, support of hierarchical 
HEALPix map format used by the gravitational waves community

Aladin Desktop v11 is available for download 
<https://aladin.u-strasbg.fr/java/nph-aladin.pl?frame=downloading>.
The FAQ <https://aladin.u-strasbg.fr/java/FAQ.htx> and the source code 
package <https://aladin.u-strasbg.fr/java/AladinSrc.jar> have also been 
updated.
