SIMBAD-TAP released !

Dear TAP users,

     The TAP service of SIMBAD is now public !

     You can access it through a TAP client (i.e. Topcat) or through a 
web-browser at the following URL:
http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-tap

     You can use this TAP service as an anonymous user (by default) or 
as an authenticated user by logging on the CDS Login Service (in the 
right top corner of the SIMBAD-TAP web-page). By using a TAP client - 
like Topcat - you will be considered as an anonymous user.

     For the moment, this service has the following configuration:
         - output limit:                                 20 000 rows
         - output formats:                           VOTable, JSON, CSV, 
TSV, text-plain
         - maximum execution duration:    60 minutes (= 1 hour)
         - execution queue:                         max. 10 executing 
queries (other submitted queries are put in a queue and will be executed 
at the end of an executing query)
         - the (asynchronous) query and its results are kept on the 
SIMBAD-TAP server for: 1 day for an anonymous user, 5 days for an 
authenticated user
         - the UPLOAD capability is not yet fully implemented, but it 
will be when the TAP library will be released in a stable version.
