CDS Annotations service released

Dear all,

The CDS team is releasing today a new service, allowing you to add
annotations to SIMBAD objects.
  SIMBAD pages showing informations for individual objects will
now contain a link at the bottom, allowing you to add informations,
remarks or request modifications from CDS staff for this object.
  In order to use this feature, you will need to register as a
user of CDS services. Detailed instructions are available here :
http://cdsannotations.u-strasbg.fr/annotations/doc/quickstart.html

  Note that the registration will provide access to more new CDS
features in the future.

  This new annotation system is in its starting phase, and might
need a little tuning in its early days. It is not intended to
supersede email support via question at simbad, but to improve the
contents of SIMBAD contents and the level of interaction between
CDS staff and SIMBAD users.

 This service has been developed in the frame of the Euro-VO AIDA
project.
