To SPLAT users,
the registry access in SPLAT has now been updated to use current
registry standards (VOResource 1.03, Registry Interface 1.01).
Until recently it was using very out of date registry protocols.
The effect of this is that it is now possible to update SPLAT's
list of SSA servers from the registry.
Under normal operation you configure SPLAT to use a given set of SSA
servers (presumably those you're interested in). This set can be
modified using the "Configure SSAP Servers" menu item/toolbar button
in the SSA window. If you select the Options|Query registry menu item
in the Configure SSAP Servers window, you can refresh the list from
a registry of your choice (AstroGrid and STSci ones provided by default).
