Several people have asked about the availability of the VO-CLI
tools demonstrated at this morning's session. People willing to test
these tasks and provide feedback are welcome, however please keep in mind
these are not quite ready as a general-user release.
I've made the (source and binary) downloads and documentation
available from the (temporary) project web page at
http://iraf-nvo.noao.edu/~fitz/vo-cli/
See the 'Status' box at the bottom for links. The README file in the
download directory describes what's there, see the README file in the
distribution for installation instructions. The only dependency should
be Java 1.5 required by the VOClient daemon.
If you're interested in playing with the Google Sky KML output
option, try a query such as
% vodata -K -all hst ngc4258
and open the resulting KML file. See the man pages for additional examples.
Please let me know if you have any problems or suggestions, and
thanks in advance for any feedback.
