OK, I was not aware of the additional burden of Recommendation Track
documents. My view is that the MType list needs to be maintained in
some kind of official way. Perhaps the
Recommendation Track is too much, but we might think of an internal,
AppsWG-contained, similar
process...
Barring the d) option, the issuing of an IVOA Note with the current
list of MTypes which
the SAMP Recommendation should point to seems fine with me. We can
agree on versioning on the
document, so that something like <http://www.ivoa.net/Documents/latest/SAMP_MTypes.html
> links to the last version. It is much more permanent than a wiki
page, and provides both the latest standard and agreed prior versions
of it.
